Our self-guided bike tour offers the opportunity to discover the city on your own pace. In just a few hours, you can cycle past iconic sites such as Plaka, the Roman Agora and the Psirri. Discover not only the famous sights, but also the lesser-known gems, while enjoying the warm Greek hospitality.
With our comfortable Dutch Cortina bikes and self-guided routes in Dutch, you are guaranteed a great exploration of the capital’s most charming spots.
The cycling routes are suitable for the whole family. Children from about 8 years old cycle by themselves, for younger children we have comfortable and safe bike seats.
Self-guided bike tours
With this self guided tour you go out on your own and you will be guided via the Active Nav App. On this app you will find the same route you will cycle during a guided tour. In addition, all the information about various sights is also in the app.
We offer two self-guided bike tours: Highlight Tour and the Coastline tour.
Highlight tour
Explore the highlights of Athens at your pace with our self-guided Highlight route. Cycle past iconic sites such as the Acropolis, the Parliament Building with the Guards, the National Gardens, the Olympic Stadium and the Temple of Zeus. Take a break wherever you want to admire these sights and take photos. Through our app, you’ll also receive fascinating information about each highlight on your route. Perfect for starting your stay in Athens!
Coastline tour
Are you eager to explore a different side of Athens or escape from the hustle and bustle of the city center? On this self-guided tour, you’ll discover the city’s coastline on a relaxing bike ride!
During this relaxing tour you will make stops at several interesting places, including the cultural center of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Here you can take a short walk to the roof of this beautiful building, where you will have a breathtaking view of the center and the sea. Then you cycle along the Marina Flisvos marina to the coastal promenade. Here you can cycle as far as you want. The app lists three recommended places where you can go for a bite to eat and a drink, and possibly take a dip in the sea.
